Funeral Choices

Religious or Secular or a bit of both ? Chapel, Crematorium, Woodland, Nature ? Unattended Cremation ? Memorial ? Remembrance ?

What is a Celebrant ?

Funeral Celebrants are specialist, trained people who perform Funerals in an appropriate, dignified and culturally acceptable ceremony, in accordance with the wishes of the family and wishes left by the departed.

Music

Music, Poetry, Readings

Every variety of music conceivable has been used, from modern rock, to film, and classics, even including a live Basuki player! The most important factor is to reflect the wishes of the family and the wishes of whose life we are celebrating.

Naming Ceremonies

Naming Ceremonies are a popular way of welcoming children, whether new born, young or adopted, into their family and wider community. These ceremonies can be held at home, or almost any suitable local venue.

Hospices

People cared for in a Hospice, know that they have not long to live and often wish to discuss funeral ideas and to plan ahead for the funeral that they would like.
As an Independent Celebrant, I can make pastoral visits to help patients understand the variety of options available to them.
